Peer Review Process
Manuscripts will first be sent to reviewers, based on their quality and substance. Please review your manuscript before submission to ensure it meets the appropriate focus and scope, and contains a substantial amount of original manuscript flow. All manuscripts in this category will be double-blind reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers, in accordance with journal guidelines. Reviewer comments will then be forwarded to the corresponding author for revision and response. The proposed decision will then be discussed in a plenary editorial board meeting, and the final decision will be communicated by one of the editors to the corresponding author.
Submitted manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the Author Guidelines. Manuscripts may be returned to the author without review if they do not meet all submission requirements, are formatted incorrectly, are found to contain publication malpractice requirements, or cannot be downloaded reliably.
All submitted manuscripts must be original and independent works of the authors. New manuscripts received will be evaluated by the Principal Editor to assess their suitability for the broader scope of Dili Journal of Engineering, Technology and Innovation (DILIJETIN). If the content is inadequate, the word limit is not met, or the formatting is compromised, or the manuscript lacks clarity, we reserve the right to reject the manuscript without peer review. Plagiarism exceeding 20% will result in the manuscript being returned to the author for revision. Manuscripts that pass the initial review will be handled by the Chief Editor or Associate Editor, who will oversee the review process for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation.
As part of our publication policy, our manuscripts are reviewed anonymously before publication.
